There are many types of the wood table like dining table, computer table, study table and much more. The wood table gives an awesome look to homes, offices, and building but after a short period of time they need to be cleaned, but don't worry below are some easy steps and methods which will help you to clean your wood table. You need to read and follow these steps and methods carefully to get the best results.

Method 1

  1. Clean: This is the first step to clean your wood table. Simply rub the table with an old clean t-shirt or with other clean cloth. Take some water and dip your cloth in it then rub the whole table to remove dust.
  2. Feather Or Lamb's Wool Duster: Feather duster or lamb's wool duster are best to do this work but don't spread the dust collect it on a corner of your table.
  3. Wipe: Wipe the cloth on the surface of your table when the cloth is lightly dampened; gently smooth it over the surface of the wood table to pick up any loose dirt or dust. Nooks & crannies needs to be checked, such as carved details, to ensure that you remove all of the dust.
  4. Dry: Now, dry the table for up to 30-45 minutes.
  5. Dust Your Wood: Always remember to dust your wood table weekly to avoid dirt buildup that requires more thorough cleaning.

Method 2

  1. Cotton Ball: Dip cotton ball in water and dishwashing liquid mixture.
  2. Test The Mixture: Test the cotton balls on the hidden spots of your wood table to be sure that this mixture will not cause any damage to the table.
  3. Combine: Now, combine some water and detergent in a water bucket then add 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of the dishwashing liquid and ½ gallon (1.9 l) of warm water into a large bucket then mix them to get a cleaning solution.
  4. Wipe: Wipe the surface of the wood table with the cleaning solution then dip a clean sponge into the dishwashing mixture in order to saturate it. Wring the sponge out and gently brush it over the table to clean the surface.
  5. Dry The Wood: Dry the wood table completely with a clean soft cloth. After you’ve sponged the entire surface of the table then remove any excess moisture from the wood table wipe it down with a clean, lint-free cloth and be sure that the table is completely dried.
  6. Deep Clean: Deep clean your wood furniture every 6 months. If you dust your furniture regularly, you usually only need to clean it more deeply once or twice a year. In the event of spills or other accidental messes, though, you should do a thorough deep cleaning to remove any sticky residue or film.
