Tips & Warnings

  1. Always try to clean or scrub with the grain of the brushed stainless steel countertop surface. As with the wood, by scrubbing against the grain can create scratches.
  2. You need to wipe spills & stains up instantly or as soon as you notice them, the less time the offensive spill is on the surface, the less chance it has to set.
  3. Clean your countertop intermittently, or at least wipe it down with your damp paper towel often. This will also avert grease & dust buildup that, over time, makes cleaning a more ambitious task.
  4. Salt also can remove stains from your stainless steel. You need to test it first in an inconspicuous area by simply placing some salt on your damp soft cloth & rubbing with the grain of the stainless steel. Some of the stainless surfaces are more prone to scratches than others.
  5. Clean your countertop only when it is cool to avert burns.
