  1. First of all, you need to combine equal parts of vinegar with some warm water in the small bucket or in the spray bottle and then mix it well.
  2. Now you need to wipe down your particle board with the help of a dry cloth in order to remove all the debris & dust.
  3. Once done, now you need to dip a clean cloth in your homemade solution, or you can also spray the cloth by using your spray bottle. Simply squeeze or wring your cloth to damp but not wet overly.
  4. Now you need to wipe down your particleboard with the help of the dampened cloth to remove any type of residue or buildup. If your cloth is leaving traces of residue on the board then it is too wet and you need to wring it again.
  5. Next you need to wipe down your particle board with a cloth dampened in water to remove all the vinegar residue. This step is not necessary unless you are too sensitive to the odor of vinegar or you have cats. The dried vinegar will smell like cat urine to the cat, causing him to urinate or mark his province.
  6. Your final step is to use your towel in order to dry any dampened spots or the sitting water from your particle board furniture.
