Methods To Get Mold Out Off Fabric Without Bleach

There are two methods in order to clean or get mold out off fabric without bleach and both the methods are mentioned below:

Method 1

  1. Vacuuming: The first step is to vacuum the affected area, this will help to remove as much mold as possible. For the best results use the hose or similar attachment this will make it easy to remove mildew even in hard to reach cracks.
  2. Solution: The next step is to prepare the solution of the 1 cup of rubbing alcohol with 1 cup of clean hot water. Now soak a sponge in the liquid and wring out excess solution, and gently start rubbing the affected area.
  3. Dry: Now let the solution to sit on the area for about 30 minutes, after that dampen a clean rag or sponge in the water and carefully dap it on the affected area to remove the solution, after that use the dry paper towel to blot away as much moisture as possible.

Method 2

This method is best for the rags and carpets:
  1. Sweep: Begin with sweeping the affected area with the broom and try to remove as much mold as possible, for the deep cleaning the user can use the hand brush in place of the broom.
  2. Vacuum: The next step is to vacuum the area to remove the remaining mold, for the best results use the vacuum cleaner with the mechanical rollers or brushes.
  3. Soapy Solution: The next step is to make a soapy solution, mix soap(without bleach) in warm water, then dip the sponge or rag in the solution and then dap the area and don't scrub the area.
  4. Vacuum Again: The next step is to vacuum again after applying the soapy solution. Try to suck as much of the water as possible.
