5 Easy Steps To Clean Mattress Pad Stains
There are two types of mattress pads namely
Foam Mattress Pads and
Cotton Mattress Pads. The mattress pad is also known as a mattress topper or underpad. Both mattresses are used to protect the bed mattress from stains and also form dust. The cleaning method of the mattress pad is not a difficult task so if the mattress pad has stains then don't worry about it, simply follow the below-given steps:
- Vacuum: First put the mattress pad on floor then start using vacuum cleaner. Clean every corner of the mattress pad to remove the dust, Debris particles and hairs and other dirty materials.
- Cleaner: Mix the oxi cleaner or homemade solutions like vinegar and lemon juice with water. Mix equal amount of water and lemon juice in a bowl and rub the solution on the mattress pad.
- Sponge: Then dip sponge in cool water and blot over the stains. The sponge will remove the stains easily.
- Toothbrush: The toothbrush can also work for cleaning the mattress pad from stains. Sprinkle some baking soda over the stains and rub with a toothbrush for around 1-2 minutes.
- Dry: Finally let the mattress pad dry under the fan air up to 8-10 hours.
