  • Step 1: The first step is to sprinkle a thin layer of baking soda on your leather couch and focus on that area where smell is present such as armrest, headrests and the couch seats.
  • Step 2: Leave the baking soda on leather couch for a whole night.
  • Step 3: After following the previous steps now, vacuum the baking soda next morning by using a vacuum's hose attachment.
  • Step 4: Smell your leather couch to determine that the couch still smells like body odor or other smell.
  • Step 5: Repeat the previous process if your couch is made of unfinished leather if not then continue to next Step.
  • Step 6: For finished leather couches you have to mix one cup water with one cup vinegar (white) because the white vinegar will help to neutralize bad odors.
  • Step 7: Now, fill your mixture in a spray bottle and start spraying the leather couch with the vinegar solution.
  • Step 8: Remember once finished now, immediately wipe the vinegar off from your leather couch with a clean cloth.
  • Step 9: Now, wipe the leather couch down with a clean cloth soaked in clean and clear water.
