The lacquer is usually applied over the furnishing items in order to protect the surface of the wood. The glossy lacquer finish can get fingerprint stains easily and that is why it needs to be cleaned regularly. The users are advised not to use such harsh chemicals over the lacquer finish as it can permanently destroy its shine and finish as well. - Clean Off The Furniture Item: The users need to start by cleaning up all the dust and the debris particles from the entire surface of the lacquer furnishing items by using the microfiber cloth or any dry cloth as well. The users can also use the feather duster because it won't give scratches to the furniture surface.
- Using The Damp Cloth: Then they need to soak the microfiber cloth in the warm water and then squeeze out all the warm water from the cloth and then rub the damp cloth over the entire surface of the lacquer furnishing item. Then make the lacquer furnishing item dry by using the dry cloth and the users need to rub the cloth by following the grain direction of the furnishing item.
- Using The Soap Mixture: If the users find out that still, some stain persists on the surface of the lacquer furnishing item then they need to soak the microfiber cloth in the soap mixture that is made from the hot water and the mild cleaner. Then rub this soaked cloth over the entire surface of the furnishing item and then use another cloth to clean up the soap residue accordingly.
- Using The Mineral Spirit: In order to get rid of the white rings that are usually caused by placing the water glass over the furniture surface and the users are advised to wipe down the affected area by soaking the cloth in the mineral spirit or by making a smooth paste of the baking soda and the mineral oil respectively.
