Steps To Clean Hardwood Floors With Vinegar And Water

To maintain the good appearance of the hardwood floors the customer needs to regularly maintain the floors by cleaning the floors with vinegar and water. The steps are mentioned below to clean the hardwood floors with a mixture of vinegar and water:
  1. Vacuum The Floor: The first step is to remove the dust particles from the floor by sweeping or dusting.
  2. Make A Solution: Then next step is to prepare a mixture by combining the vinegar and warm water in a bucket to clean the floor surface.
  3. Mop With The Solution: Put the mop into the prepared mixture. Twist the mop into the solution so that it is only dampened with the solution. Move the mop on the wood floor and cover the whole floor.
  4. Use A Spray Bottle: Now take a spray bottle and fill it with the prepared mixture of vinegar and water. Then slightly damp the microfiber mop with warm water and spray the mixed solution on the floor and clean the floor surface with the mop.
  5. Don’t Let Floors Get Too Wet: Do not use commercial cotton mops to dry the floor because too much moisture can damage the wood floor. Sponge mop can be used to dry the floor.

  3. Step 3: Spray thin coat of cleanser solution on the floor surface and clean it.
  4. Step 4: Clean the floor surface by using a soft cloth.
  5. Step 5: Then wipe the area with soft cloth to dry the floor surface in circular direction.
