Regular cleaning of the chair cushions with the proper method is a good way to add more life to them and maintain the luster as well as beauty. The chair cushions are prone to get dirty easily due to regular usage and seating and if not cleaned regularly the cushion feels look dull and discolored.
How To Clean Dining/Kitchen Chair Cushions?
Here are some steps to clean the dining chair cushions:

Upholstery Cleaner: Get the upholstery cleaner for treating the hard to remove food or beverage stains. Alternatively, using a mild detergent or soap can also be used to get the job done.

Remove Cushions: Now remove the dirty cushions and let them for cleaning in the properly ventilated area.
3.
Application: Clean the cushions using upholstery cleaner and wait for 5 to 10 minutes till it sits properly.

Wash Cloth/ Soft Brush: Now use a washcloth and a soft brush to clean the cushions smoothly till becoming the cleaner than follow up by the rinsing and wiping to eliminate all dirt and another residue.

Prepare Solution: Take a bucket and fill it with the warm water (Approx 1 quarter) and add 1 tablespoon of both borax and mild dishwashing detergent into it mix it well to prepare a solution.

Sponge: Take a sponge and wet it with the solution and scrub the cushion with the same.
3.
Soak: After the cushions are cleaned using sponge allow it to soak for nearly fifteen minutes. Once soaked properly, Wash or rinse it using a garden hose properly.
4.
Dry: Let the cushions air dry.
Canvas Wash
Canvas can be removable or fixed and need to wash accordingly. Make sure to check the washing instructions properly before washing them.

Removable: Removable canvas can be easily machine washed using gentle wash cycle and mild detergent. Once cleaned put them back to the furniture without drying. This will keep them in original condition.

Fixed: If the canvas is fixed and cannot be removed from the piece of the furniture then get the Fels-Naptha soap and apply it over the brush with soft bristles and start the scrubbing process until the lather arises and canvas is properly cleaned.
3.
Water: Rinse the canvas simply by clean water to remove soap residue and let it dry.
Note: Application of the fabric protector on the canvas helps protecting it from a number of harmful elements.
Rocking

Stain Removal: Create the mixture of the dishwashing powder and hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle and shake a little bit avoid over shaking and spray it over the stains. Alternatively, there are a number of other stain removing agents available in the market that can perform the job.
