Laminate countertops are made up of the thin layers of plastic and the laminate is bonded to particleboard for making the surface solid for the laminate countertop.   1. New Laminate And Size: The user need to bring new laminate and take the size of laminate with measuring tape.
  2. Cut: Cut the new laminate according to the taken size of the new laminate with jigsaw or handsaw.
  3. Masking Tape: Apply masking tape on the unsed area to protect the laminate from contact cement or glue.
  4. Cement: The first step to replace the countertop without removing them is to apply contact cement under surface of the laminate countertop.
  5. Sander: The user need to sand working area, edges, and corners with a medium grit (80) belt sander.
  6. Glue: Start gluing corners, and edges of the laminate countertop with a paintbrush.
  7. Dry The Countertop: Allow the laminate countertop dry for nearly 24 hours. Leaving the fan and windows open may help the user to get faster results.
