Pressure Washing Teak: Always keep the tip of washer at least 6 inches away from the furniture, in order to avoid streaks, move the tip of the washer along with the directions of a grain of the wood. The water treatment will remove all the dirt and dust that has been accumulated on the furniture.
Bleaching The Stains: After washing, the furniture should be allowed to dry for at least 48 hours before the sanding process while drying there will be some stains on the furniture which needs to be taken care of before sanding, to get the rid of the stains use a solution of wood bleach that contains oxalic acid, simply use sponge to apply the bleach and let soak until the stain is fully gone and then rinse the bleach with a clean water or use a solution of the baking soda.
Sanding: Final step is the sanding process once the wood is dry use 120-grit sandpaper by hand or by machine.
