10 Easy Steps Of Building A Waterbed Frame With Drawers

If you want to build a waterbed frame with drawers and you don't know about the procedure then don't worry we are here to help you. You just need to follow the given steps for this process and achieve the desired result:
  1. Firstly, arrange your frame pieces & hardware on your floor in the approximate location where your bed will rest. Be sure that the grooved edges of your rails will be located on the inside of the bottom of your frame & the finished edges will be facing out. Place your corner brackets & screws at each corner. Set your decking & pedestal parts aside safely.
  2. Now press your corners together & also secure the 2 corner brackets to the inside of each corner with your screwdriver. Your side rails will now extend beyond the top of your frame to support your headboard once your bed is assembled. Position your frame exactly where your bed will ultimately rest.
  3. Lay your drawers & hardware out in the center of your frame, with your drawers facing out. Simply insert your spacer boards into your grooves betwixt each drawer. Now use your finished spacers along with the foot of your bed and the unfinished spaces on your interior. The drawers & spacers will also connect to form a pedestal in your correct size & the configuration. Turn your exterior frame onto its side & prop it against your wall away from your pedestal.
  4. Lay your decking on top of your pedestal base & with your cut corner positioned at the corner of the head of your bed closest to the electrical outlet. Also, measure your overhang to ensure that your decking is centered on top of your pedestal.
  5. Lift & place the frame squarely on top of your decking. The grooves along with the bottom inside edge of your frame boards will rest on top of the edge of your decking & hide the unfinished edge of your decking plywood. You just need to measure to be sure that the decking is square on top of your pedestal.
  6. Simply, screw 2-2 corner brackets into each inside corner created by your frame & decking with your Philips screwdriver. Simply set your headboard on the protruding sections of your frame & secure it to the inside of your frame with straight brackets and the screws. Now you need to test the rail caps to make sure they fit snugly and then remove them simply. Cover all the brackets on the inside of your frame with your duct tape to avert mattress leaks.
  7. Now you need to place your heater pad in the center of your bed. Then run your cord through with the hole in the corner of your pedestal at the head of your bed. Now plug it in and then turn it on and make sure it works properly. Unplug your heater before placing your liner on top of the pedestal & heater. Simply spread it out, and then press the corners into the corners of your frame.
  8. Place your mattress inside the frame & liner, with your fill valve positioned at the end of your bed. Pull the corners of your mattress toward the corners of your frame & smooth the wrinkles from the bottom of your mattress. Connect your clean garden hose to a fill kit adapter and the kitchen faucet. Pull your fill valve from inside your mattress & remove the cover. Attach the other end of your garden hose to your fill valve.
  9. Now you need to fill your mattress. Simply pull your mattress corners toward your frame corners during the first part of filling to remove any leftover wrinkles from the bottom of your mattress. When the top of your mattress reaches 1/4 to 1/2 inch below the top of your frame boards, turn the water off and disconnect your hose.
  10. Finally, pour water bed conditioner liquid into your fill valve according to package directions. Run the handle of your broom across the top of your bed. Direct air bubbles out throughout with the fill valve. Replace your fill valve cover & push the valve back into your mattress. Dry any water on your mattress surface with a towel. Plug your heater back in and turn it on.
