Easy Steps For Buffing Wooden Floor

The hardwood floor is pieces of the dry timber from the wood of a dicot tree. The lifespan of the hardwood floor is durable up to 40-50 years but after a short period of time, the hardwood floor needs to be buffed for removing stains or permanent marks from the wood floor. Here are the easy and simple steps in order to buff a hardwood floor. Just follow the given steps carefully to get the best results:
  1. Mix: To start the process of buffing a hardwood floor the first step is to mix a little amount of hardwood floor cleaning compound with warm water. Use a water bucket to perform this step.
  2. Mop The Floor: Mopping broom is very useful to mop the floor. Mop the complete floor with mopping broom and leave the wood floor for drying.
  3. Buff Machine: Buff machines makes the buffing process easy for hardwood floor. The weight of the machine is not so heavy and the machine is also not costly, so the user can easily afford this.
  4. Steer The Machine: The machines are totally covered by the safety nuts, so use a wrench to remove the nuts of the machine.
  5. Sanding Screen: Fit 200-grit sanding screen then tight the nuts. Stand up the machine now and plug the wire of the buff machine in an electric board.
  6. Buffing: Be careful while starting the buff machine because if the user didn't hold the handles carefully then the machine starts the ride on the floor and get away from the user. Steer the machine now and apply gentle pressure on the handles of the buff machine. Now start the buffing process over the wood floor. Buff the corners, middle and edges of the wood floor.
  7. Wipe: After the user ends buffing the hardwood floor, start to wipe the dust, which comes from the buff machine, with a damp cloth.
  8. Floor Polish: Now the user needs to spread the hardwood floor cleaning compound on the floor.
  9. Remove & Replace: Remove the sanding screen from the buff machine and apply lamb's wool buffing screen in the buff machine. Now start the buffing process again to buff the cleaning compound on wood floor.
