Metal frames generally have brackets at the ends of the side rails for the purpose of attaching a headboard as well as footboards. Step 1: Place The Headboard & Footboard

The first step is to position the headboard against the wall at the place of your choice, and the footboard at the contradictory end of the room. Set up your bed rails at 90-degree angles to the headboard on one and the other side. You need to make sure that the rails are on the right sides of the bed. The perpendicular sides of the rail should be toward the outer side of the bed with the parallel side facing inward. Put the center rail aligned to the headboard as well as the footboard at least halfway betwixt them.

Step 2: Attach The Middle Rail

Attach the central rail to both the side rails. Raise the locking latch on one side and drop the flanges into the slots. Pull laterally on the middle rail in order to lock the rail into place. Move the locking mechanism in a downward direction in order to secure the rail. Repeat the same process on the other side of the middle rail.

Step 3: Lift The Rails & Slide Into Slots

With the headboard holding up straight, raise one of the rails and drop the end into the slots on the bottommost section of the headboard. Push the rail down onto the pins in order to make sure it locks into place. Repeat the process for the headboard's other side.

Step 4: Examine The Plastic Feet On The Rails

Place the footboard at the opposite end of the bed. Raise one of the rails and drop it into the footboard by putting the end into the slot as you did with the headboard. Repeat the process for the contradictory end of the footboard with the rest of the rail. Examine the plastic feet on the rails and then flatten as required with the help of a crescent wrench.
