Here is the list of required tools and steps for this process:

Tools You’ll Need

  • Socket Wrench
  • Screwdriver (Phillips And Flat Head)
  • Beeswax
  • Propane Blowtorch
  • Paint Scraper
  • Leveler
  • Billiard Cloth

Step By Step Guide

  • Determining Spacing: The first step towards assembling your billiards table is determining the position in your room, as your table cannot be shifted once it is assembled. How much space you need around your table depends on the size & the length of your cue you use, 5 feet of space on all the sides should provide the minimum amount of your room for players to shoot & position.
  • Removing Packaging: Collect your tools in a nominate location so you do not have to look for something while you are assembling your pool table. Begin your work by simply removing all parts from your pool table packaging, including larger hardware like your legs & cabinet & smaller pieces like bolts & nuts. Refer to your owner’s guidance to ensure that you have all the pieces.
  • Attaching The Legs: Mark the location of your pool table & place your cabinet upside-down on the spot it should be in. While some of the frames are pre-assembled, there is a chance you may need to put it together yourself. Attach your side panels, end panels, or other frameworks according to your manufacturer’s guidance, if indispensable.
  • Tighten Nuts: Now you need to tighten all your nuts with the help of a socket wrench and check to see if any leg-mounting brackets are indispensable for the corners of your table.
  • Attach Legs: Ensure that your leg support is securely attached to all the corners of your table. After doing this, attach legs one at a time, and also check to see if your legs wobble or move when you touch it. If not, turn your cabinet right side up & recheck the position of your table to confirm that it is in the actual place.
  • Place Slates: After your frame & legs are properly secured, now you are ready to place the slates on your pool table. Use your measuring tape and then locate the center of your table and then place the center tile there. Measure all the open spaces next to your center tile to be sure they are even, and then put the other 2 slates into the place. The frame of your pool table should be wholly filled.
  • Use Leveler: You now need to use your leveler to check that your slates are evenly leveled well. You may need to insert the shims underneath your tiles to raise or lower them, according to your leveler. Once your pool table is wholly level then you need to screw your slates in, and then you need to use a propane torch to melt your beeswax into the spaces betwixt the tiles.
  • Make Beeswax Dry: Allow the applied beeswax to dry for a whole night before removing the extra wax with the help of a paint scraper.
  • Finishing Touch: Now that your pool table bed has been prepared, your billiard cloth can be laid out on the top. Cut holes in your slate panels for your bolts & then align the pockets & rails on your table. Once this has been done, all the screws & washers must be stiffened until they are thoroughly secure. Finally, staple or screw pockets to the underside of your table, depending on the particular style.
