Steps To Apply Polyurethane To Wood Floors Without Bubbles

Polyurethane oil-based paint help to give a new and fresh look to the wood floor. Mostly the wooden floor is not easy to clean quickly after getting roughed or stains on the floor. However, here are some easy and quickest ways to apply Polyurethane to a wood floor. Follow the given steps carefully to apply polyurethane and get best results.
  1. Stuffs: At first users need some stuffs to start the work like Paint trays, sandpaper, long roller, etc.
  2. Clean: Clean the floor with the help of vacuum or with mineral spirits, water and white vinegar.
  3. Sandpaper: Use thin grit of sandpaper in order to clear the floor.
  4. Apply: Now Carefully apply Polyurethane's first coat.
  5. Dry: Let it dry and wait for a maximum of 7 to 8 hours.
  6. Again Sand: Now after drying, again sand the floor with thin grit of sandpaper to avoid bubbles.
  7. Another Coat: After sanding, apply another coat of polyurethane on floor with the help of long roller.
  8. Dry: Now let dry the 2nd coat of Polyurethane on floor and wait for a maximum of 24 hours.
  9. Apply Third Coat: Now apply the third coat but dont use sandpaper now.
  10. Final Dry: Finally let the floor dry for a maximum of 24 hours.
