  • Rag.
  • Screwdriver.

Steps

  1. Protect: The first step to adjust the recliner footrest is to protect the cushions and the material which are underneath the footrest by using the old newspapers or cloth.
  2. Flip: Now Flip recliner cover and loosen all the screws that are attached to the metal of the footrest and the wooden chassis. Use a screwdriver to do the work faster. Now Disassemble the piece attached to the recliner.
  3. Spray: Now Spray the good lubricant to every joint that moves. The best spray for the recliner is WD40 . Also apply the oil lubricants to joint and moves.
  4. Rag: Now wipe out all the sprayed lubricants or oil lubricant with rag. Raging the joints and moves with rag cloth will clean the recliner.
