4 Different Methods To Clean Cloudy Glass Table Top
Due to improper cleaning, hard water, and lime deposits, the glass table tops can become cloudy but don't worry you can easily clean your glass table by just following the given methods and steps.
Ammonia
Here are the steps to clean cloudy glass tabletop by Ammonia:
- Step 1- This is your first step, simply add one tbsp of ammonia to one cup of tap water in a clean spray bottle.
- Step 2- Now, spray the created solution on your cloudy glass tabletop and allow the ammonia solution to soak into the glass for 5-10 minutes.
- Step 3- In order to clean this solution from your glass table, take a microfiber cloth or paper towel to wipe the solution. Start your work from one end to other end of the glass table, continue cleaning in the same perpendicular until all of the mixture has been removed from your glass table. If you see that the ammonia is cleaning the cloudiness, repeat this process again until the cloudiness is removed from your table.
Petroleum Jelly

- Step 2- Leave the petroleum jelly to soak into the glass table for maximum 24 hours.
- Step 3- After your table is dry now, spray a glass cleaner over the petroleum jelly on your table. Now, take a soft cloth or paper to remove the petroleum jelly and clean the glass of your table. Repeat the process if you see this is working if not then use a different method.
Denture Cleaner

- Step 1- First, dissolve a denture tablet in clean water ( as per manufacturer's directions). Pour this content into a clean spraying bottle.
- Step 2- Now, spray the denture cleaner onto your cloudy glass table surface.
- Step 3- Let the cleaner to soak into the table for 2 to 5 minutes, or depending on how much cloudy layer you have on your table.
- Step 4- Use a paper towel or soft cloth to remove the liquid from your glass table. Repeat if needed.
Vinegar

- Steps 1- This is your final method, simply combine equal parts vinegar and water in a clean spray bottle.
- Steps 2- Now Spray this mixture on your glass table. Leave it to soak into the glass for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the cloudiness layer of your table.
- Steps 3- Use a paper towel or soft cloth to remove this liquid from your glass table top. Repeat this process if needed.
