→ Remove loose rust, paint, and grime.
→ Smooth rough edges of layers of paint.
→ Prepare for rust conversion and painting.

- Power Wash: If you have the power washer then use it, if not then borrow one bacause this will save you lots of time & sweat by simply blasting off lots of the loose paint, rust & outdoor grime.
- Let Dry For 24 Hours: This will let your metal outdoor furnitre dry better for working of chemicals later & also give time for the water to loosen up more of the old finish for sansing, scraping & brushing.

- Sandpaper: Sand your metal furniturw with a 150 grit sandpaper to get the smooth edges and surface of your furniture.
