Easy Ways Of Making Tile Floors Shine Without Using Wax

Tile floors lose their shine or glossiness over a period of time due to the reason that they get affected by dirt, stains, and wear. Way 1: Vinegar Tile Cleaner

Vinegar is considered one of the most powerful natural cleaners that work exceptionally well for many different cleaning needs. You simply need to mix water(1 part) with white distilled vinegar(1 part) in a 1-gallon bucket. Mix the solution thoroughly in order to blend the vinegar into the water. Using undiluted vinegar can be very harmful to your tile's grout. Vinegar will clean the tile floors and deodorize them. Clean or soak up liquid from the floors with the help of diluted vinegar. Always wring out the excess liquid in order to avoid saturating the tile. On the other hand, you can flow the diluted vinegar rapidly into a spray bottle. Sprinkle the floor in small sections and clean each area as long as the entire floor is cleaned.

Way 2: Ammonia And Water Mixture

Make a mixture of ammonia(1/4 cup) with 1 gallon of warm water in a bucket. Dip a mop in the solution and squeeze and twist the excess water. Mop the tile floor in order to sterilize it. If in case the tile floor has odd yellow mildew, the ammonia will help bring the tiles back to their original shine. Soak a wet sponge or cloth or a nylon scouring pad in the solution and then scrub on the floors smoothly. Soak a soft-bristled toothbrush into the baking soda before scrubbing the grout and tiles. Allow the baking soda to sit for near about 10 minutes before rinsing the tiles with warm water. Continue the process on the tile floor to get rid of any obvious stains.
