How to Fix up the Hardwood Floor Popping

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily fix up the Hardwood Floor Popping:
  1. Locate The Popping Area: The customers need to locate the exact popping area by walking side to side on the floor. They then need to mark the popping spot on the hardwood floor by using the painter’s tape.
  2. Use The Painter's Tape: The customers then need to dig a hole between the painter's tape by using the electric drill. The customers should not dig a hole at the joints of the hardwood boards.
  3. Place A Small Nail: The customers then need to place the small nail to the hole and they need to make the marks on the one side of the nail in order to analyze the depth of the drilled hole.
  4. Cut The Dowel: The customers then need to trim dowel rod according to the exact depth of the drilled hole by using the hacksaw. The customers then need to trim one of the end sides of the dowel by using the utility knife of the pocket knife.
  5. Use The Adhesive Material: The customers then need to take the plunger out of the utility syringe and then fill the utility syringe with the epoxy adhesive material. They then need to place the plunger to the utility syringe and then gently press the plungers till the time the glue discharge from the tip of the utility syringe.
  6. Place The Tip Of Syringe: The customers then need to place the utility syringe tip into the drilled hole on the hardwood floor. The customers then need to gently press the syringe plunger in order to squeeze out all the glue from the syringe. The customers need to keep on squeezing the wood glue into the hole till the time the hole won't accept further glue.
  7. Clean The Excess Glue: The customers then need to use a soft rag in order to wipe away all the excess glue from the hole.
  8. Place The Dowel: The customers then need to place the trimmed end of the dowel directly into the hole and tap it down by using the hammer. The customers then need to place a wooden block on the top of the dowel and tap it down again by using the hammer. They need to keep on tapping the dowel until it does not get fully placed in the drilled hole. The customers then need to clean the excess glue by using the soft rag and they also need to remove the painter's tape from the drilled area as well.
  9. Apply The Stain: The customers finally need to apply the stain to the drilled hole area by using the small brush and then let it dry completely before applying a layer of the polyurethane to the floor.
