Gel Stain Cabinets Without Sanding: Steps To Apply

Steps To Apply Gel Stain To Cabinets without Sanding

Here are some of the steps by which the customers can easily apply the gel stain to their cabinets without sanding:
  1. Remove The Hardware: The customers need to start by detaching all the doors and the drawers from the cabinets by unbinding all the metal hardware like hinges, knobs, and the screws. The customers must store all the metal hardware in order to use them in the future.
  2. Remove The Dust and debris: The customers then need to clean all the dust, dirt, and debris particles from the surface of the cabinets and for that, they need to wipe down the cabinets by using the Tri-sodium Phosphate cleaner or any other normal wood cleaner. They then need to allow the cabinets to dry completely.
  3. Apply The Gel Paint: Once the cabinets are dried completely the customers then need to apply the gel paint to the surface of the cabinets by using the foam brush and the customers must apply the gel paint in the exact way of the wood grain pattern on the cabinets. The customers then need to let the gel paint dry completely before applying two more coats of the gel paint.
  4. Re-attach All The Doors And Shelves: The customers then need to use the soft cloth in order to wipe away all the excess paint from the cabinets. Once the paint is completely dried the customers then need to re-attach the doors, drawers, and shelves to the cabinets by using the saved hinges, knobs and screws.
