Furniture Bank is a charitable organization that helps needy by furnishing their home using donated furniture pieces. The bank accepts the used furniture and other household products from the donators so that they can distribute it to those who are in need of it. The organization offers furniture removal as well as the pickup services on certain fee as a part of fundraising and this fee is used to pay rent and other utility charges to the families who cannot afford it.

VolunteerThe Furniture bank offers corporate and individual-based volunteer services to those individuals who wish to serve the deprived community in their spare time.
Corporate Volunteers: Work in a team and offers assistance to the needy people in choosing furniture and homewares, etc. The team also takes care of the painting and repairing work in furniture bank workshop.
Individual Volunteer: The individual volunteers are also responsible to help out needy people in choosing furniture and other homeware stuff as well as needs to look after the repair and painting process of the used furniture at the workshop with the only difference that individuals have to work only one day in a week from (8:30 am – 12:30 pm).
