Cleaning Blinds With Vinegar: Easy Steps To Clean Blinds Using Vinegar

Easy Steps To Clean Vinyl Blinds With Vinegar

The vinyl blinds deliver a functional aspiration in your living space. The blinds will also provide you privacy and keep the sunlight away from bleaching furnishings and window treatments but you need to know that the bound type of slats will attract dust & dirt instantaneously and can be some time tiresome to clean them. But don't worry about this type of issue because we will tell you how you will clean your blinds with the help of distilled vinegar, apple cider vinegar and with water because using a vinegar solution will easily provide a compelling, natural way to remove any build-up dust & dirt and keep the wall blinds looking more attractive. To do this you just need to follow all the given steps carefully. Here are the steps for this process:
  1. In order to clean blinds with vinegar, first of all, you need to take a container and then equal parts of water(warm) and the distilled vinegar.
  2. You can also use a raw apple cider vinegar if you don't want to use distilled vinegar or if the distilled vinegar is not available but you need to know that apple vinegar contains residue and will not clean any vinyl slats as we compare it to distilled vinegar.
  3. If you are going to use raw apple cider vinegar then avert shaking your spray bottle before pouring out the amount which you need, because the residue of vinegar sits at the bottom of the slates.
  4. After knowing and making your vinegar solution, now you need to lower and open your blinds for the cleaning process. Wear rubber gloves to keep away any odor from your hands, although distilled vinegar is entirely non-toxic, and does have the odor which you wish to keep off from your skin.
  5. Dip an absorptive cloth in the distilled vinegar-water based solution.
  6. Next you need to wring out any extra vinegar solution and wrap your cloth around the index finger. Clean the top and bottom of each blind slat by mildly wiping your wet cloth over the surface.
  7. In place of cloth, you need to wear cheap cotton gloves on your hands and then dip your fingertip in your home vinegar cleaning solution and then wipe it across the bottom & top surface of each vinyl blind slat.
