Different Problems In Bamboo Flooring

After the successful installation of the bamboo flooring, there may occur many problems with the flooring. Some of the main problems are mentioned below:
  1. Warping: The problem of warping occurs in the bamboo flooring when these floors are exposed to the moisture for a longer time. The solution to this problem is to keep the moisture away from the floor as much as possible and dry the floor every time.
  2. Fading: When the bamboo floors come in direct contact with the sunlight the color of the floors fades away and patches get created on that portion of the floor where sunlight falls. So, to avoid fading the color of the floor the users should take necessary measures to avoid the contact of sunlight with the floor.
  3. Cracking: The bamboo floors are durable but certain accidents can create cracks in the bamboo floor. Walking on the floor with high heels exerts pressure on the floor and cracks occur on the floor surface and damage the floor. To avoid the floor from the damage it is advised not to walk on the floor with sharp and heavy heels.
  4. Change Of Color: If the users apply chemicals or generic cleaners on the floor surface for cleaning, then it will result in the loss of color. Make sure not to apply the cleaner directly on the surface of the floor. Always follow the instructions of the manufacturer for cleaning the floor surface.
  5. Swelling: If accidentally any spill falls on the floor then it can cause swelling of the floors and weakens the floor material. To keep the bamboo floors away from swelling immediately clean the spill from the floor and dry the floor by using a mop and cover the wet areas with the help of rugs.
  6. Loss Of Finish: The bamboo floors should be sealed properly with a high quality sealant. Avoid using the low-quality sealant as it can damage the floor.
  7. Scratches: If there exist dirt and grime particles on the floor surface for a longer time then the bamboo floor surface may get scratched. To avoid scratches from the floor the users need to clean the floor surface regularly and cover the entrance of the door with rugs so that the dust particles get trapped in it.
