- Sanding Buffer
- Sanding Ring, Medium Grain
- Shop Vacuum & Medium Grout
- River Rocks, 2 Inches Thick
- Washcloth & Clear Sealant
- Paintbrush, 3-Inch Flat
Step By Step Instructions
- Sanding
First of all, you need to sand the wall, that you are looking to decorate, using a sanding buffer having an attached medium-grain sanding ring. Sanding in turn will help make the wall more evenly textured and gets rid of old paint and roughness. - Vacuum Cleaning
Now, vacuum clean the entire wall as well as floor with the help of a shop vacuum, which will help you get rid of any debris as well as dust caused by the sanding process. - Grouting
Next, apply a 3-inch thick layer of medium grout over the entire wall with the help of a trowel, but you need to make sure to spread the grout in an even or equally balanced layer. - Place River Rocks On The Wall
Exert pressure to the flat river rocks halfway in order to move it into the grout-covered wall. Opt for river rocks that are all roughly 2 inches thick. Position each rock 1/2 inch apart from each other. The grout will squeeze out betwixt the rocks. - Fill In Any Empty Spots
