Acrylic Furniture Varnish: How To Varnish

How To Varnish An Acrylic Painted Furniture?

Follow these steps in order to Varnish the Acrylic Painted Furniture:
  • First you are required to place your furniture at a place where you can leave your furniture drying for a few hours after varnishing.
  • After that, you are required to use Polyurethane varnish because it dries to a hard surface.
  • Then clean your furniture from dirt & dust and make sure the paint on it is completely dry.
  • Then you need to dip the brush into the varnish but only 1/3 or 1/4 portion and then apply it gently all over the furniture.
  • Once it is done, then leave it till it gets completely dried up.

Can I Varnish Over Varnish Without Sanding?
Sanding is used to adhere wood so that it can grip the varnish or any other liquid substance especially when it is already varnished. But it is not necessary to do sanding, you have an option of using "Liquid Sander De Glosser" which removes the top finish of the wood and it becomes little rough on which you can put an even coat of varnish.
