Using Acrylic Craft Paint On Wood Furniture may not be an easy task, it can prove difficult because the paint may soak into the wood, or may not stick or making a mess of the wooden furniture. However, with proper steps the customer can avoid these conditions, below are steps given that customer can do before painting acrylic paint on wooden furniture:
  • First of all the customer needs to sand the wood with sandpaper of 140- to 180-grit, this makes the wood smooth with an even surface, after that rub the wood with a cloth in order to remove all the dust.
  • Then the customer has to prime the wood with a wooden primer, it is important to prime all the surface so acrylic paint goes smoothly, allow the primer to dry.
  • Then using a soft paintbrush apply the acrylic paint to all the primed wood surface.
  • For blended colour clean the brush and apply another colour, allowing both colours to dry completely.
  • Finally apply a sealant to seal the colour.
