The wood finish on the floor or on the furniture protects it from stains, but sometimes it needs to be stripped for refinishing or remodeling purpose. The customers can remove the finish by acetone, for the best results, it is advisable to sand the furniture after applying Acetone. First of all, pour the acetone on a piece of cloth then rub the surface with that cloth, then let acetone to soak into the surface for 5 minutes then repeat the application, then sand the surface with sandpaper of about 20 to 36 grit. At last, clean the surface and apply the new finish.

Solvent-like Acetone is of great use for removing the unwanted paint drips. Acetone works well at removing acrylic paint, enamels, and oil-based paints on furniture. If stored properly, acetone can be used several times. Whether the paint is dried or fresh acetone works equally well. Simply pour the acetone on the cloth or towel and then rub the paint drips.
