How Long Does It Take To Acclimate Hardwood Flooring?

Acclimating is a process of regulating the amount of moisture in the hardwood flooring in an environment where it is being used. The flooring must be done in the humidity content of 30-50% and the temperature should be around 60-80 degrees. Wood flooring should always be done after paint and plaster of the walls are completely dry. The basement portion of the house should be clean and dry before installing the hardwood flooring. The regular humidity reading of that area will indicate the customers about the flooring have adjusted with the environment.
