Laminate Flooring installation, patching or repairing requires few drops, smears or gobs of glue where the customer doesn't want them. However, the glue can be easily removed with simple household products and does not need any specialized products to remove them.

The Methods to remove the glue from the laminate flooring are mentioned below:
  1. Vinegar: Prepare the solution of the vinegar(1/4 cup) and a 1-quart spray bottle with clean water. Mix the solution thoroughly then apply it directly on the affected area, after that let it soak for almost 30 seconds until it is saturated. After the 30 minutes Scrub off the glue with the help of the dampened cloth.
  2. Rubbing Alcohol: In case the vinegar fails to work then use the Rubbing alcohol, but before using the alcohol ventilate the area. Apply the Alcohol on the affected area and scrub vigorously with the cloth until the glue is gone or removed. In case the cloth dries then apply more alcohol and continue the process.
  3. Acetone: Now if, both the vinegar and alcohol fails to deliver, then use the acetone like nail polish remover. Apply the acetone to the folded cloth then dap on the glue until it is fully saturated. Then with the help of the plastic glue scraper, scrape the glue, if it still persists then apply more acetone and leave for 20 minutes on the area and then scrape.
